After 30 years of experience at the Logan Inn, Maggie is still beaming with the enthusiasm, passion, and spirit that led her through the doors of this historic establishment in 1987. Since she began her career in the hospitality industry, Maggie has been dedicated to the blossoming food and entertainment culture of this unique, charming community. Prior to the Logan Inn, Maggie served as a manager at the Yellow Brick Toad in Lambertville, New Jersey and a banquet manager at the Lambertville Station and Inn. Later, crossing over the bridge, Maggie worked at past New Hope hotspot, Mother’s Restaurant, and played a major role in the their catering company, A Touch of Mother’s. During this time, one of her regular customers, Steve Kates, became the new owner of Logan Inn, asked her to join his staff, and her journey in the heart of New Hope began.

Maggie’s unparalleled customer service, exceptional attention to detail, and plentiful knowledge of restaurant and inn operations emerge from her extensive experience in nearly every position in the industry. Having called the New Hope-Lambertville community her home for many years, Maggie is passionate about offering guests an experience that beautifully blends the Logan Inn’s Revolutionary Era tradition, high- quality, delicious cuisine, and first class amenities of the modern day. She is always excited to share fables about the legendary Logan Inn ghosts with guests who are interested in hearing about them. She has a love for food and wine, but her favorite aspects of working at the Logan Inn are having the opportunity to meet new people on a daily basis and enjoying the long-lasting relationships she has established with regular local customers over the years. Logan Inn also holds a special place in Maggie’s heart because two of her three children were essentially raised here… a true home away from home.

Since Landmark Hospitality took ownership of Logan Inn a few years ago, Maggie has been delighted that the Cretella family loves this New Hope gem and this vibrant community just as much as she does. She truly appreciates their devotion to elevating the Logan Inn’s brilliance and offering guests a breathtaking transformation that blends modern luxuries of today with the colonial charm of yesteryear. Maggie is thrilled for Logan Inn to carry on its iconic legacy with the current renovation slated for completion in 2020, which will bring a grand lobby, open kitchen, high-capacity event spaces, luxurious new guest rooms, a conservatory bar, garden dining, and much more to the New Hope community and tourists from near and far. Additionally, Maggie is excited about the expansion of Landmark Hospitality’s footprint in New Hope, with the recent acquisition of Logan’s neighbor, The Mansion Inn. Maggie is overjoyed in anticipation of this fresh chapter in Logan Inn’s history and the opportunity to now offer memorable guest experiences down Main Street. Cathy has been with the Logan Inn for nearly 20 years. . In September 1997 Cathy began working at the Logan as a part-time server, alongside her full-time job. Her two sons were young and it was a way to make extra money as a single mom and try something different. But Cathy soon realized she enjoyed the environment and continued as a server with the Logan throughout many years, eventually becoming the bookkeeper under the previous ownership. Cathy simultaneously worked her own bookkeeping business, with many local clients throughout the Bucks County, Hunterdon area and continues to do so on a part-time basis. She began managing in 2014 prior to Landmark acquiring the Logan Inn and was ready to step into the role with Landmark.
